Former Gor Mahia defender Joshua Onyango has sealed a big-money move to Zimbabwean champions Scottland FC.

At continental level, Onyango featured for Gor Mahia in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League, including ties against South Sudanese outfit El Merreikh Bentiu.
His arrival is expected to bolster Scottland’s ambitions as they target back-to-back league titles and a stronger campaign in next season’s CAF Champions League.

Owned by Zimbabwean politician Pedzisayi ‘Scott’ Sakupwanya, the club has attracted elite names, including national legend Khama Billiat and former national team captain Knowledge Musona.
Onyango was unveiled alongside ten other new signings as the club intensifies preparations for the 2026 season.
“We bring to you the ELEVEN new signings for the 2026 season in which we seek to defend the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title and also take part in the CAF Champions League,” the club said in a statement.
